My name is Lisa McConnell, and I am a stay at home of mom of twin boys, Liam and Patrick. Before the babies were born, I offered nutritional counseling by phone for my clients. Now that I am a busy mom, I realize that e-mail is a convenient and practical. way to communicate with people, so I have decided to offer nutritional counseling by e-mail for other busy mamas! What a great way to do what I love while staying at home with my kids!

My dream is to expand Conscious Mama to offer holistic parenting products as well counseling services. I have started by offering baby carriers which I believe are indispensable when it comes to taking care of a little one.

Before the boys were born, I knew that I wanted to follow an "attachment parenting philosophy" so I began to read about and order lots of baby carriers! I tried many slings, and wraps on the market so that I could best take care of my little guys. As a mom of twins, I really need an extra set of hands, and my carriers allow me to get around easily and be hands free while still being close to the boys throughout the day. My husband loves them, too, because it is a great way for him to bond with the boys.
